We present a new method that combines the results of an oscillation study made in optical and radio observations. The optical spectral measurements in photospheric and chromospheric lines of the line-of-sight velocity were carried out at the Sayan So

The observations of 3 and 5 minute oscillations in sunspots present information on propagation of MHD waves in the magnetic tubes of sunspots. We present a comparison of wavelet spectra of radio flux oscillations at λ = 1.76 cm and oscillations of l

A series of coronal magnetograms, related to the active region NOAA 9068 is derived using the effects of the quasi-transverse (QT-) propagation at microwaves. In the assumption that the product of the electron density N and the scale of magnetic dive

An analysis of solar rotation as a function of heliographic latitude and time is made using daily radio maps of the Sun at the wavelength of 1.76 cm. Variations of the velocity as a function of the latitude during the period 1992{2001 have been studi

Daily radio maps of the Sun at the wavelength of 1.76 cm were used to analyze the parameters of solar activity at all heliographic latitudes for the period 1992{2001. As a criterion of the level of solar activity, we analyzed the area/number of regio

Radio observations of some active regions (ARs) obtained with the Nobeyama radioheliograph at λ = 1.76 cm are used for estimating the magnetic field strength in the upper chromosphere, based on thermal bremsstrahlung. The results are compared with t

In this paper we present the arguments showing that the solar cycle must be studied as an essentially global process. Observations of polar faculae and magnetic fields have shown that the solar activity at high latitude presents an important part of

The microwave circular polarization of the active region (AR) NOAA 7260 on 21 - 23 August 1992 is analyzed. Two-dimensional images at 1.76 cm with spatial resolution ofD 10 00 from the Nobeyama radioheliograph and one-dimensional scans at 9 wavelengt

A technique is proposed to estimate the magnetic field and its derivative in coronal layers above solar active regions. On the basis of the theory of quasi-transverse propagation of microwaves, the measurable degree of circular polarization is relate

We present the results of measurements of magnetic fields above a sunspot at different altitudes of the solar atmosphere for a number of observation days. The data are based on simultaneous optical and radio observations in August, 1992. The existenc
