Photometry in B, V (down to V ~ 26 mag) is presented for two 23' × 23' fields of the Andromeda galaxy (M31) that were observed with the blue channel camera of the Large Binocular Telescope during the Science Demonstration Time. Each field covers an

We present an accurate analysis of the peculiar horizontal branch (HB) of the massive Galactic globular cluster NGC2808, based on high-resolution far-UV and optical images of the central region of the cluster obtained with the Hubble Space Telescope.

Aims. We introduce our imaging survey of possible young massive globular clusters in M31 performed with the Wide Field and Planetary Camera 2 (WFPC2) on the Hubble Space Telescope (HST). We obtained shallow (to B ~ 25) photometry of individual stars

Correlations among the independently measured physical properties of globular clusters (GCs) can provide powerful tests for theoretical models and new insights into their dynamics, formation, and evolution. We review briefly some of the previous work

We report new, as yet unpublished HST/WFPC2 V, I photometry of 9 globular clusters in M31. These are part of a total sample of 19 clusters on M31 with well observed CMDs from HST. The clusters have the full range of horizontal branch morphologies fro
