A fast iterative algorithm is proposed for the construction and the learning of a neural net achieving a classification task, with an input layer, one intermediate layer, and an output layer. The network is able to learn an arbitrary training set. Th
We have developed and realized a concept which is very well suited for a quick recognition of highly correlated patterns. For a hetero-associative memory we used a minimal optimized output code (index memory). We constructed a tree structure in which

The nonresonant energy transfer in the mixed semiconductor Cd 1-x Mn x Te is investigated by using time resolved spectra of the manganese 4 T 1 → 6 A 1 emission.
Energy transfer in RbMnF3 was studied by time-resolved spectroscopy of the 4T1g-exciton luminescence. The threefold orbital degeneracy of the 4T1g-state is lifted by a Jahn-Teller coupling to eg-modes. The JT-effect leaves an orientational degeneracy

The transfer is studied on an fcc-lattice filled at random with optically active ions. The computed results for time-resolved emission are compared with experimental data.

Energy transfer in RbMnF3 was studied by time-resolved spectroscopy of 4T1g exciton and trap luminescence. Uniaxial stress was used to lift the orientational degeneracy of the Jahn-Teller distorted MnF6 octahedra. Stress also reduces the excitonic tr

Excitation transfer is considered in a randomly occupied FCC lattice. A model is constructed in which the excitation energy is assumed to be a stochastic variable. Transfer is only allowed between nearest neighbours. High excitation densities in the
