We report fabrication of an antiresonant hollow core fiber made from Tellurite glass. Initial results are promising for fabrication of a low loss mid-IR fiber made from non-toxic and durable glass for power delivery applications.

We report the development of a large mode area, high concentration Tm3+ doped germanate fiber. Laser experiments confirm an encouraging slope efficiency of ~8.75% (16.19% allowing for current inter-cavity splice losses).

We developed a high concentration (8.5* 1020 ions/cm3) Tm3+ doped germanate fiber. By core-pumping it in a Chirped Pulse Amplification (CPA) system, we produced 240fs pulses with 42 MW peak-power, a record for this glass.
