Polymorphisms of coagulation factor XIII, an A2B2 tetramer, have been reported in correlation with venous and arterial thrombotic events. As there were limited data on these polymorphisms from Iranian population, we studied the correlation of factor

A population study was carried out on 301 ethnic Germans from Dusseldorf (Northrhine Westphalia) using the short tandem repeat (STR) system HumF13B (Coagulation Factor XIIIB). Five different alleles were detected. No deviations from the Hardy-Weinber

A new technical modality for the typing of coagulation factor XIIIB (F13B) is described. The determination of F13B phenotypes was carried out from desyalized plasma samples by means of polyacrylamide gel isoelectric focusing (pH range 6-8) followed b
