A new approach for an in-line beam monitor for ionizing radiation was introduced in a recent publication (Beckers, J., et al. "Mapping electron dynamics in highly transient EUV photon-induced plasmas: a novel diagnostic approach using multi-mode micr

A new diagnostic approach using multi-mode microwave cavity resonance spectroscopy (MCRS) is introduced. This can be used to determine electron dynamics non-invasively in an absolute sense, as a function of time and spatially resolved. Using this app

Even though UV laser pulses that irradiate a gas discharge are small compared to the plasma volume (≲3%) and plasma-on time (≲6 × 10−6%), they are found to dramatically change the discharge characteristics on a global scale. The reactive argon

Positive streamers are thought to propagate by photo-ionization whose parameters depend on the nitrogen:oxygen ratio. Therefore we study streamers in nitrogen with 20%, 0.2% and 0.01% oxygen and in pure nitrogen, as well as in pure oxygen and argon.
