A procedure called GOLPE is suggested in order to detect those variables which increase the predictivity of PLS models. The procedure is based on evaluating the predictive power of a number of PLS models built by different combinations of variables s

A new multivariate topological descriptor, the subgraph count set (SCS) is described. Chemically, the SCS is a count of all (or some of) the radicals obtained by breaking one bond in a molecule. The SCS is applied in modelling the octane number of he

Selected polymers and polymer blends suitable for shoe sole manufacturing were processed by means of two different moulding technologies (injection and compression) and the shrinkage of standard square specimens were measured. This paper, the experim

The behaviour of coal and bibenzyl with respect to anodic oxidation, both in aqueous and in organic media, has been compared. Complete lack of analogy was observed, suggesting that bibenzyl could be an oversimplified model.
