We tested the gravitational $1/{r}^{2}$ law using a stationary torsion-balance detector and a rotating attractor containing test bodies with both 18-fold and 120-fold azimuthal symmetries that simultaneously tests the $1/{r}^{2}$ law at two different

We comment on arXiv:1901.10843, pointing out that its constraint on ultra-low-mass axions is incompatible with the duration of the data set described. We describe a simple way to analyze such data that gives the correct scaling.

We analyzed a 6.7-yr span of data from a rotating torsion-pendulum containing $\ensuremath{\approx}{10}^{23}$ polarized electrons to search for the ``wind'' arising from ultralight, axionlike dark matter with masses between ${10}^{\ensuremath{-}23}$

Two Eöt–Wash torsion balance instruments exploited optimized Fourier–Bessel geometries to test the short-distance properties of gravity and to constrain exotic dipole–dipole and monopole–dipole interactions. We discuss efficient analytic tec

We correct errors in seven of the more than 100 expressions for the gravitational inner spherical multipole moments of several homogeneous solids. No additional corrections have been found.

Lunar laser ranging provides a number of leading experimental tests of gravitation -- important in our quest to unify General Relativity and the Standard Model of physics. The Apache Point Observatory Lunar Laser-ranging Operation (APOLLO) has for ye

Despite two decades of experimental e_ort, the elusive axion has yet to be discovered. Nevertheless, it remains a well-motivated solution to the strong CP problem and a promising dark matter candidate. Most searches use the axion-two-photon coupling

Lunar laser ranging (LLR) has long provided many of our best measurements on the fundamental nature of gravity, including the strong equivalence principle, time -rate-of-change of the gravitational constant, the inverse square law, geodetic precessio

In 2006 April, the Apache Point Observatory Lunar Laser-ranging Operation (APOLLO) began its science campaign to measure the Earth-Moon separation to millimeter precision. Since that time more than 280 “normal-point” measurements have been made o

We review recent mechanical experiments that test some of the most basic principles of physics including the weak and strong forms of the Equivalence Principle, the gravitational inverse-square law, and Lorentz invariance. The very high sensitivity o
