This paper considers the impact of large scale biasing of the IGM on reionization. The two simplest but extreme scenarios for IGM biasing are: an unbiased IGM which has a constant density and an IGM with density equal to the collapsed matter density.

Neutral hydrogen (HI) is the most abundant baryonic element and a crucial component of galaxies. In the early universe, the interaction between neutral gas and the light produced by galaxies is thought to have given rise to cosmological reionization.

The Dark Ages and Cosmic Dawn are largely unexplored windows on the infant Universe (z ~ 200-10). Observations of the redshifted 21-cm line of neutral hydrogen can provide valuable new insight into fundamental physics and astrophysics during these er

Neutral hydrogen pervades the infant Universe, and its redshifted 21-cm signal allows one to chart the Universe. This signal allows one to probe astrophysical processes such as the formation of the first stars, galaxies, (super)massive black holes an

Intensity mapping (IM) has emerged as a promising technique to probe the largescale structures and galaxy formation and evolution across cosmic history. As IM measures the aggregate emission from all sources, it can overcome the limitation of convent

The field of extragalactic astronomy is progressing rapidly but there is still much to understand and many questions that remain open. During recent years the Lyα emission line has come to the fore as a potentially very powerful astrophysical tool a

La etapa de reionización cósmica es la última de varias transiciones de fase que atravesó el Universo durante su formación. Comprender esta etapa es uno de los objetivos más importantes en la Cosmologı́a actual. Uno de los problemas abiertos
