Abstract Temperature- and fluence-dependent carrier dynamics of the magnetic kagome metal Fe3Sn2 were studied using the ultrafast optical pump-probe technique. Two carrier relaxation processes and a laser-induced coherent optical phonon were observed

Abstract Strong circularly polarized excitation opens up the possibility to generate and control effective magnetic fields in solid state systems, e.g., via the optical inverse Faraday effect or the phonon inverse Faraday effect. While these effects

Abstract The coexistence of the charge-density wave (CDW) and superconducting phases and their tunability under external pressure remains one of the key points in understanding the electronic structure of AV3Sb5 (A = K, Rb, Cs) kagome metals. Here, w

Abstract Coexisting density-wave and superconducting states along with the large anomalous Hall effect in the absence of local magnetism remain intriguing and enigmatic features of the AV3Sb5 kagome metals (A = K, Rb, Cs). Here, we demonstrate via op

We present a theoretical study of the band structure and optical conductivity for the chiral multifold semimetal PdGa. We identify several characteristic features in the optical conductivity and provide their origins within the band structure. As exp

Ba6In2Ge2Te15, a THz birefringent material with an intriguing quasi-[Te5]4− chain, was successfully synthesized. Experimental and theoretical results illustrate that Ba6In2Ge2Te15 exhibits large birefringence and ultrawide transparency windows.

High-pressure single-crystal x-ray diffraction experiments reveal that the superconducting kagome metal CsV$_3$Sb$_5$ transforms from hexagonal ($P6/mmm$) to monoclinic ($C2/m$) symmetry above 10 GPa if nonhydrostatic pressure conditions are created
