The creation of three-dimensional structures possessing biomimetic properties is of considerable interest for regenerative medicine. Nonwoven materials with a diameter of fibers from 100 nm to 3 µm have been obtained by electrospinning from dispersi

Transcription of the oct-1 gene is regulated by two alternative promoters: U promoter and L promoter located upstream of the exons 1U and 1L, respectively. The L promoter contains two octamer sequences of opposite orientation: proximal (ATTTGCAT) and

The gene encoding mouse transcription factor Oct-1 contains two exons, 1U and 1L, at the 5′ end. Oct-1 mRNA from all tissues contains exon 1U, whereas exon 1L is found only in Oct-1 mRNA from mouse and human lymphoid cells. Upstream of 1U and 1L ex

Expression of the oct-2 gene was studied in mouse tissues and during in vitro differentiation of embryocarcinoma PCC4, mouse neuroblastoma Neuro2A and NB41A3 cells m the presence of retinoic acid (RA) or 1% DMSO. oct-2 mRNA is characterized by a comp

The expression of an Oct-binding protein Oct-2 was studied during differentiation of three cell lines. Two inductors were used in our experiments: retinoic acid and DMSO. It was shown that all these cells have heterogeneous population of Oct-2 mRNA.
