Entire and castrated male pigs were actively immunised against the steroid 5α-androst-16-en-3-one (androstenone) conjugated to bovine thyroglobulin as its carrier protein. This immunogen was incorporated with either Freund's complete adjuvant or a w

The urinary excretion of N-(2-benzoyloxyethyl)norfenfluramine (JP 992) was examined in man with normal and acidic urine after oral administration of the drug; 86–100% of the dose was excreted in 48 h as metabolites of the drug having m-trifluoromet

Tissue concentrations of androstenone were measured in untreated control pigs and pigs immunized against 5α-androst-16-en-3-one. Results confirmed that active immunization of male pigs against androstenone is unlikely to prevent the problem of “bo

N-2-Cyanoethylamphetamine in man was metabolized rapidly and extensively, as indicated by the analysis of the drug and its metabolite in urine, under acidic and normal conditions. A comparison with the excretion and metabolism of ethylamphetamine und

A gas-liquid chromatographic method of determination of norfenfluramine and N-2-hydroxyethylnorfenfluramine is described. Also a method is reported to determine N-(2-benzoyloxyethyl)norfenfluramine and its metabolites containing the m-trifluoromethyl
