Pion absorption by 3He was studied at Tπ=165 MeV in a kinematically complete experiment. The cross section for absorption on a (pn) pair of nucleons, σpn(π+), was found to be 17.0±2.6 mb; that for absorption on a (pp) pair, σpp(π-), 0.91±0.20

Angular distributions of protons, deuterons, tritons, alpha particles and 8Be ions have been measured for the system 13C+9Be at CM energies around 11.6 MeV. The compound nucleus contribution was calculated on the basis of the Hauser-Feshbach statisti

Angular distributions of protons, deuterons, tritons, alpha particles and 7Li at 7 MeV CM and 8Be at 10 MeV CM have been measured for the 9Be+9Be system. The contribution of the compound nucleus mechanism to the reactions under investigation was esti

Excitation curves for 9Be + 12C induced reactions with emission of protons, deuterons, tritons, α-particles and 8Be ions have been measured in the energy range from 11.4 MeV to 14.8 MeV (c.m.). Two strong maxima in the 8Be channel have been found at

The /sup 12,13/C(/sup 20/Ne,..cap alpha..) reactions were measured at E = 140.2 MeV in order to search for a direct /sup 16/O-cluster-transfer process. In the reaction with the /sup 12/C target, prominent broad peaks were observed, while the spectrum

The interaction of /sup 9/Be ions with /sup 28/Si target nuclei was investigated by measuring elastic scattering cross sections and evaporation spectra. The behavior of the elastic scattering cross sections as a function of the classical distance of
