σ-Aryl trans-bistriphenylphosphine complexes based on 2,6-di-tert-butylphenol containing Pt—SnCl3, Pt—GeCl3 groups were synthesized. Oxidation of these compounds gives the corresponding phenoxyl radicals, which were studied by ESR spectroscopy.
