Abstract The results of experimental studies and numerical simulation of the flow structure in the separation region downstream of an asymmetric narrowing of smooth canal that simulates 70% one-sided stenosis of the artery are presented. The Reynolds

We report on the results of numerical simulation of a supersonic laminar flow past the junction of a blunt-fin body and a plate. We analyze the gasdynamic and vortex structures of the flow, which are determined by the viscous–inviscid interaction.

The paper presents a comparative numerical study of pulsatory blood flow in five patient-specific models of femoral-popliteal artery anastomosis. Three-dimensional geometric models of a proximal junction of the common femoral artery/graft were constr

Annotation The results of numerical simulation of pulsating blood flow in a three-dimensional model of the femoral artery-graft junction are presented. The study is focused on the influence of the flow rates ratio in two branches of the branching flo

We present the results of hybrid RANS/LES computations of non-isothermal buoyant flow in a rapidly revolving enclosure with paraxial transit stream of the cooling air. Foil heat flux meters mounted on the disk surface in the base experiment are mimic

Calculations of the quasiperiodic and stochastic regimes of three‐dimensional convection of a silicon melt (Pr = 0.015) have been performed for a rotating vessel whose complicated shape is typical of crucibles used in growing crystals by the Czochr
