A hybrid photocatalyst of oxygen vacancies-decorated ZnWO4/CdS–Ni greatly boosts the photocatalytic reduction and oxidation activities, which is due to the Z-scheme heterojunction after introducing oxygen vacancies and bifunctional Ni particles.
