Sarcoma complicating fibrous dysplasia

Four cases of sarcoma arising in lesions of fibrous dysplasia were found in the files of the Mayo Clinic. In all four cases the malignant tumors developed in facial bones, and in all cases the benign lesions had been subjected to ionizing radiation.
