The growth kinetics and the structure of organic/silica hybrids prepared from acid hydrolysis of 1:1 molar mixtures of 3-glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane and tetraethoxysilane were studied by small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) at 315, 325 and 335 K.
