Cytogenetic studies were performed on 90 human gliomas including 26 astrocytomas, 12 oligodendrogliomas, three oligo-astrocytomas, seven ependymomas, eight pilocytic astrocytomas, and 33 malignant gliomas (anaplastic astrocytomas and glioblastomas).
