The reactions of C60 and C70, dissolved in toluene, with ozone at 100, 23.5, 0. - 16, and - 78°C are reported. Both fullerenes are transformed swiftly at all of these temperatures. Both fullerenes form monoxides, dioxides and possibly higher oxides.
