Diacyclops humphreysi n. sp. is described from the Cape Range karst area, North-west Cape Peninsula, Western Australia. The new species fits the Diacyclops crassicaudis-complex (Reid, 1992), being close to D. longifurcus Shen & Sung, 1963, from China

Summary The A. gives an account of the plankters found in the takes and ponds of a grotto of Sardinia; she refers particularly about Diacyclops crassicaudis, which presents identity with a form found in a grotto of Tuscany («punta degli Stretti»).
