Experimental Demonstration of Simplified Single-shot Supercontinuum Spectral Interferometry

We use a genetic algorithm (GA) to retrieve a pump-induced phase modulation on a probe pulse in Single-Shot Supercontinuum Spectral Interferometry (SSSI) without pre-characterizing the probe pulse to determine its spectral phase.

Simplified Single-shot Supercontinuum Spectral Interferometry (SSSSI)

We show the validity of an algorithm that pre-characterizes the chirp of a probe pulse in single-shot supercontinuum spectral interferometry, in as few as 2 measurements, via simulation and experiment.
