The Cu II -catalyzed oxidation of saturated hydrocarbons by hydrogen peroxide proceeds in pyridine-acetic acid solutions affording mainly ketones as the reaction product. The conversion of hydrocarbon is about 20–30 %. This system (called GoChAgg)
