One-body matrix elements of rN between harmonic oscillator radial wave-functions have been studied. All the selection rules have been established. New extensions to the hydrogenic (bound) case have been obtained.

The influence of the nuclear recoil on ionisation accompanying a sudden change of charge of the nucleus has been evaluated. The numerical result is one order of magnitude too small for explaining the experimental data concerning the decay of He6.

The summation method developped by Dalgarno and Lewis has been extended to degenerate states. The limitations and some simplifications of the method are examined.

La méthode de Langevin est appliquée à deux problèmes posés l'un par la radiochimie, l'autre par la radiogéologie. Elle se montre particulièrement utile lorsque un ou plusieurs chocs jouent un rôle particulier. La méthode basée sur l'équat

A bstract. — An independent particle model — at first proposed in order to describe quasimolecular states — gives qualitative information concerning most deformed excited states of light nuclei. These results have been compared with experimenta

A phenomenological potential is proposed in order to explain the anomalous vibrational spectra of spherical nuclei with energy ratio [forumle] smaller than 2. A correlation between this anomaly and shell closure is noted.

— Octupole modes have been included into the phenome-nological description of collective levels in strongly deformed even nuclei. States with unnatural parity have been considered. The detection of these states by means of inelastic scattering with
