Abstract We present the fabrication of a MoS2−xSex thin film from a co-sputtering process using MoS2 and MoSe2 commercial targets with 99.9% purity. The sputtering of the MoS2 and MoSe2 was carried out using a straight and low-cost magnetron radio

Recent studies of lithium-ion batteries suggest that the use of binary CoSn alloys as anodes should provide an improvement over currently used anode materials. However, the implementation of CoSn alloys is challenging due to uncertainties regarding t

Three finite-sized two-dimensional (2D) periodic arrays of metallic nanoapertures with the shape of nanowave, nanohole, and nanodot have been developed. Using water as an output medium, although the operating wavelengths are larger than the array per

Investigations of carbon nanotube (CNT) synthesis were carried out in a chemical vapor deposition reactor using CO as the carbon source, Fe as the catalyst material, and SiO2 as the catalyst support. This allowed us to synthesize CNTs in a wide range

We studied a NanoBud structure in a local‐scale using high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM), scanning tunnelling microscopy (STM) and Raman spectroscopy. The HRTEM images show fullerenes on the outer surface of a single‐walled

International audience; Recrystallization of a ball-milled ferritic ODS steel is studied towards its evolution from as-milled powder to consolidated state. This characterization has been made possible by using a combination of X-ray Diffraction (XRD)

We succeeded in providing for the first time the evidence of the NanoBud structure (fullerenes attached to the surface of SWCNT) by Raman spectroscopy in combination with TEM. This work was performed on the individual freestanding NanoBud structure.
