Abstract Introduction In a context of declining condom use and high sexually transmitted infection (STI) incidence, the diffusion of “treatment as prevention” (Tasp) and more recently pre‐exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) may have changed the sexual

Models of radiative transfer (RT) are important tools for remote sensing of vegetation, as they facilitate forward simulations of remotely sensed data as well as inverse estimation of biophysical and biochemical properties from vegetation optical pro

Quasicrystals are perfectly ordered crystals lacking translational symmetry. Here the authors unravel the formation mechanism of two-dimensional dodecagonal quasicrystals that arise from systematic modifications of a hexagonal honeycomb structure.

High entropy alloys are multi-element random alloys with a strong short range disorder. Here, the authors show that their heat carrying lattice waves, while strongly attenuated by the force-constant disorder, propagate until high energy.

Exploiting the structural complexity of crystals at the scale of their unit cell is a well-established strategy in the search for efficient materials for energy conversion, which aims at disentangling and separately engineering heat and charge transp
