He received senior residency training in anesthesiology and intensive and emergency medicine at Ota Nishinouchi General Hospital and has worked in anesthesia procedures for general surgeries for 10 years. His specialty as a clinician is trauma anesthesia for emergency acute care surgeries. He received a doctoral degree in science from the Yokohama City University in Yokohama City, Japan, and currently works as a researcher at Yokohama City University Graduate School of Medicine, Department of Regenerative Medicine. He has been involved in molecular neuroscience and clinical microbiology since graduation. Takashi Tagami, MD, MPH, PhD, is an emergency physician, trauma surgeon, and intensivist at Nippon Medical School, Musashikosugi Hospital. He holds board certifications in emergency medicine, surgery, intensive care medicine, and clinical epidemiology.
