Investigating the neurobiology of language impairment and treatment in chronic stroke aphasia using fMRI requires an understanding of measurement variability within and between participants. In this multicenter study, we evaluated the scan-rescan rel

2019 IEEE International Conference on Space Optical Systems and Applications (ICSOS).
Free-space optical (FSO) communications systems are under development by NASA to support a wide variety of missions (e.g., long-distance deep-space links and near-Earth low-Earth orbiting (LEO) links) that propagate through the turbulent atmospheric

For free-space optical (FSO) communications through the turbulent atmospheric channel, multi-spatial-mode photoncounting detectors can provide an attractive high-sensitivity receiver solution. However, multi-mode detection also increases optical back

Flexible multi-rate capabilities are attractive for communications over the dynamic free-space optical (FSO) channel since it enables links to be efficiently established over a variety of distances, channel conditions, aperture sizes, and transmitter

We demonstrate improved angular acceptance for low-loss narrowband optical filtering for high-sensitivity photon-counting free-space applications. Using a silicon etalon, a GHz-class passband with 230% greater low-loss angular acceptance is achieved.

We present a new approach for generating multi-rate burst-mode DPSK waveforms using time and frequency-windowed directly modulated laser transmitters. Near-theoretical performance is demonstrated over a wide range of data rates using a WDM-scalable i
