Conference on Lasers and Electro-Optics.
We demonstrate an on-demand source of individual, temporally modulated photons with high purity (g2(0) = 0.017) and detection efficiency (14.9%) using a silicon-vacancy center in diamond coupled to an asymmetric nanophotonic cavity.

Fiber-based quantum networks employing atomic memories require an interface between visible and infrared photons. We demonstrate low-noise conversion between silicon vacancy wavelengths and the telecom O-band for use in a deployed quantum network.

Quantum networks require functional nodes consisting of stationary registers with the capability of high-fidelity quantum processing and storage, which efficiently interface with photons propagating in an optical fiber. We report a significant step t

Symposium Latsis 2019 on Diamond Photonics - Physics, Technologies and Applications.
We present quantum network nodes that leverage integration of nanophotonic, electromechanical, and microwave technology to control the optical and spin properties of silicon-vacancy (SiV) color-centers in diamond. We demonstrate strain induced quantu

The ability to communicate quantum information over long distances is of central importance in quantum science and engineering. For example, it enables secure quantum key distribution (QKD) relying on fundamental principles that prohibit the "cloning

We realize an elementary quantum network node consisting of a silicon-vacancy (SiV) color center inside a diamond nanocavity coupled to a nearby nuclear spin with 100 ms long coherence times. Specifically, we describe experimental techniques and disc

We demonstrate a novel method for coherent optical manipulation of individual nuclear spins in the solid state, mediated by the electronic states of a proximal quantum emitter. Specifically, using the nitrogen-vacancy (NV) color center in diamond, we
