The n-cube graph is the graph on the vertex set of n-tuples of 0s and 1s, with two vertices joined by an edge if and only if the n-tuples differ in exactly one component. We compute the Smith group of this graph, or, equivalently, the elementary divi

Supportive care in cancer : official journal of the Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer. 28(1)
Limited information is available regarding elderly patients experiencing febrile neutropenia (FN). This study evaluated FN-related care among elderly cancer patients who received high/intermediate FN-risk chemotherapy and experienced ≥ 1 FN episode

There is a Paley graph for each prime power $q$ such that $q\equiv 1\pmod 4$. The vertex set is the field $\mathbb Fq$ and two vertices $x$ and $y$ are joined by an edge if and only if $x-y$ is a nonzero square of $\mathbb Fq$. We compute the Smith n

We show that the size of the intersection of a Hermitian variety in PG(n,q^2), and any set satisfying an r-dimensional-subspace intersection property, is congruent to 1 modulo a power of p. In particular, in the case where n=2, if the two sets are a

Let K be the finite field of order q m + 1 , which is regarded as an ( m + 1 ) -dimensional vector space over F q . For each h-dimensional F q -subspace V of K, α ∈ K and 0 ⩽ t ⩽ q m + 1 − 1 , we define S t ( V , α ) = ∑ v ∈ V ( α + v

Given a class of graphs G, a graph G is a probe graph ofG if its vertices can be partitioned into two sets, P, the probes, and an independent set N, the nonprobes, such that G can be embedded into a graph of G by adding edges between certain vertices

We determine the Smith normal forms of the incidence matrices of points and projective ( r − 1 ) (r-1) -dimensional subspaces of PG ( n , q ) \operatorname {PG}(n,q) and of the incidence matrices of points and r r -dimensional affine subspaces

Using the Smith normal forms of the symmetric designs associated with the HKM and Lin difference sets, we show that not only are these two families of difference sets inequivalent, but also that the associated symmetric designs are nonisomorphic.
