Results of a ground-based optical monitoring campaign on 3C 390.3 in 1994-95 are presented. The broad-band fluxes (B, V, R, and I), the spectrophotometric optical continuum flux F(5177) and the integrated emission-line fluxes of Ha, Hb, Hg, HeI, and

The F0 V star 9 Aur A exhibits an irregular variability of amplitude $\approx $0.1 magnitude at optical wavelengths. The variations are too slow for it to be a $\delta$ Scuti-type star. There is no evidence for a close, interacting companion or ring

Blastomycosis is a fungal infection acquired via inhalation of Blastomyces dermatitidis. The majority of cases occur in central, southeastern, and mid-Atlantic areas of the United States. We report the case of a 42-year-old veteran infected with the

We present the data and initial results from a combined Hubble Space Telescope (HST)/IUE/ground-based spectroscopic monitoring campaign on the Seyfert 1 galaxy NGC 5548 that was undertaken in order to address questions that require both higher tempor

We present photoelectric photometry of this bright long-period RS CVn binary and use it, along with earlier photometry, to derive the photometric period and discuss the changing light curve shape. The best ephemeris for times of minimum light is 2443

Differential photometry of this K1 IV–III p RS VNn-type binary in 1978–79, 1979–80, and 1980–81 at eight different observatories shows that the variability, discovered orignally by Herbst, is periodic. The mean of three different determinatio

Three years of photometry in V and B of the UBV system are presented to confirm the suspicion of Herbst (1973) that HR 7275 is a variable star. The photometry is used to derive the photometric period, which proves to be about 3% shorter than the spec

Five years of photoelectric photometry of this bright K1 III RS CVn binary has been obtained at thirteen different observatories. Except for one year, the light curve has shown two minima, separated by roughly a half cycle. At the epoch of discovery

Differential photometry of the RS CVn-type binary 54 Cam is presented, which shows that the light was variable with a period of 10.163 + or - 0.009 d, and with an amplitude increase from 0.03 to 0.06 m between 1979 and 1980. The photometric period of
