The results of a study of oligomerization of phenol and some of its derivatives by reaction with propylene oxide in the presence of the nitrogen-containing modifier benzoguanamine are submitted. The structure of the synthesized oligomer is suggested.

The process of grafting of acrylonitrile to propylene oligomers was investigated. The modified samples of the oligomer were tested as biocidal additives for M-10 lube oil. It was shown that the nitrile modification products have fungicidal properties
