The linear propagation properties of laser written hexagonal waveguide arrays in fused silica have been studied for the first time. We determine the behavior of the coupling constants for different waveguide separations and for different wavelengths.

We present results on the generation of tunable continuous-wave THz radiation via photomixing on a PCA using a dual mode external cavity diode laser (2λ-ECDL). The tuning range reaches from 250GHz up to several THz.
