We demonstrate a bench-scale prototype of a photoacoustic (PA) methane gas analyser that takes advantage of an optical parametric oscillator (OPO) based on a fan-out MgO : PPLN structure and resonant differential PA detector. The OPO emits in a repet

A potassium titanyl arsenate (KTiOAsO4, KTA) crystal 50 × 80 × 60 mm in size has been grown by upgraded Czochralski method from flux (TGGS) with a decrease in temperature from 900 to 770 °C during pulling. It is shown that the spectroscopic proper

Optical parametric oscillator based on a periodically poled MgO:LiNbO3 crystal pumped by a repetitevely pulsed Tm3+:Lu2O3 ceramics laser at 1966 nm was studied. The OPO average output power up to 530 mW at wavelength of 3.7–4.2 μm was achieved at

We report on theoretical and experimental study of pulsed lasing driven by synchronous pumping of an Yb-fiber laser. We show that even simple sine-wave modulation of the pump power with moderate depth (~50%) can result in shaping of a regular train o
