Thin Cl37 targets were bombarded with monoenergetic protons, the overall proton energy resolution being about 1.7 keV. A long counter was used to observe neutrons from the Cl37(p, n)A37 reaction at energies up to 0.8 MeV above the reaction threshold.

An upper limit of 5 mb has been obtained for the Cl^(37)(n,P)S^(37) reaction cross section at a neutron energy of 17.5 MeV. The cross section for the Cl^(35)(n,2n)Cl^(34m) reaction has been measured for neutron energies between 17 MeV and 22 MeV.
