Cerium oxide (Ce100), molybdenum oxide (Mo100), and a material containing Ce and Mo (CeMo) were synthesized by the Pechini method, using glycerol as a polyol. These materials were applied for fructose conversion in an aqueous medium. The characteriza

In this study, tin oxide (SnO2), molybdenum oxide (MoO3) and a mixed oxide based on tin and molybdenum (respectively, Sn100, Mo100 and SnMo25, synthesized by the impregnation method) were applied in xylose conversion. The best results were obtained e

Tin and molybdenum oxide catalytic systems were employed in transesterification and esterification reactions using methanol. In the presence of the molybdenum-based catalysts, low activity was observed in the methanolysis of soybean oil. However, hig

A series of nanostructured catalytic systems based on SnO2 modified with MoO3 (SnMoX, X = 5, 25, 50 and 75%) were evaluated in fructose conversion. SnMo25 catalyst at 150 °C led to significant conversion of fructose, with the lowest formation of ins
