Jackson CM; Carol Mackenzie Jackson is a surgical PA who has been in practice for 20 years in the greater Philadelphia, Pa., area. Her husband of 30 years, James T. (Pete) Jackson, PsyD, was a clinical psychologist. He passed away in March 2024 due to complications from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. The author has disclosed no potential conflicts of interest, financial or otherwise.
