We discuss exclusive J/$\psi$ photoproduction, initially in conventional collinear factorisation at NLO and then subsequently in a refined approach with a programme of low x resummation and implementation of a crucial low $Q_0$ subtraction included.

Prospects for quarkonium-production studies accessible during the upcoming high-luminosity phases of the CERN Large Hadron Collider operation after 2021 are reviewed. Current experimental and theoretical open issues in the field are assessed together

We compute the exclusive electroproduction, $\gamma^* p \rightarrow V p$, of heavy quarkonia $V$ to NLO in the collinear factorisation scheme, which has been formally proven for this process. The inclusion of an off-shell virtuality $Q^2$ carried by

The low $x$ behavior of the gluon density $xg(x,{\ensuremath{\mu}}^{2})$ at scale ${\ensuremath{\mu}}^{2}=2.4\text{ }\text{ }{\mathrm{GeV}}^{2}$ is determined using exclusive $J/\ensuremath{\psi}$ production data from HERA and LHCb within the framewo

We discuss the exclusive $J/\psi$ photoproduction process, as measured recently at LHCb, as a means of constraining and ultimately determining the low $x$ and low $Q$ gluon PDF. The scale dependence of the theoretical prediction for this process is s

We discuss how the stability of the theoretical prediction for exclusive $J/\psi$ photoproduction has been improved through a systematic taming of the known $\overline{\text{MS}}$ coefficient functions by accounting for a formally power suppressed, b
