We demonstrate hybrid organic photovoltaic (HOPV) bilayer devices with very high open circuit voltages (VOC) of 1.18 V based on a sol-gel processed zinc oxide (ZnO) acceptor and a vacuum deposited boron subphthalocyanine chloride (SubPc) donor layer.
