Pancreatic cancer (PaC) is resistant to immune checkpoint therapy, but the underlying mechanisms are largely unknown. In this study, we have established four orthotopic PaC murine models with different PaC cell lines by intra-pancreatic inoculation.

Oncogenic RAS mutations are associated with tumor resistance to radiation therapy. Cell-cell interactions in the tumor microenvironment (TME) profoundly influence therapy outcomes. However, the nature of these interactions and their role in Ras tumor

Low-dose computed tomography (LDCT) Non-Small Cell Lung (NSCLC) screening is associated with high false-positive rates, leading to unnecessary expensive and invasive follow ups. There is a need for minimally invasive approaches to improve the accurac

Conventional cancer chemotherapies are not fully efficacious and do not target tumors, leading to significant treatment-related morbidities. A number of genetically attenuated cancer-targeting bacteria are being developed to safely target tumors in v

How organisms control organ size is not fully understood. We found that Syd/JIP3 is required for proper wing size inDrosophila.JIP3mutations are associated with organ size defects in mammals. The underlying mechanisms are not well understood. We disc

Dong, Vadla et al. find that oncogenic Ras and p53 cooperatively stimulate JAK/STAT cytokines to promote non-autonomous tissue overgrowth in Drosophila. Further, blocking STAT signalling prevents the growth-inducing effect of p53 overexpression and i
