From the leaves of Goniothalamus tenuifolius, a new natural product namely 3'-hydroxy-3,5,7,4'-tetramethoxyflavone (1) was isolated, along with seven other known compounds (2-8). Each of these isolates was evaluated for free radical scavenging activi
