The High Resolution Fly's Eye (HiRes) Experiment has been in operation in monocular mode since 1997 and in stereo mode since late 1999. The published HiRes monocular spectrum is consistent with the GZK Suppression at 1019.8 eV and observes an ankle s

A design for extremely low mass, high-resolution multiwire proportional chambers (MWPC) was achieved by the MEGA collaboration in its experiment to search for the lepton family number violating decay μ→eγ. To extend the present branching ratio li

The air fluorescence technique was first successfully deployed on the Fly’s Eye Experiment (1981–1993) by the University of Utah. Its successor, the High Resolution Fly’s Eye (HiRes) experiment has further exploited this technique, first in hyb

An engineering run with a partial detector is scheduled for Fall of 1987. The run will test the response of Phillips TDCs and nonsparse latches, the performance of SEs and SIs, and the data path from Fastbus through the ACP system to the MicroVAX II.
