Asarum ampulliflorum Lu & Wang, sp. nov. (Aristolochiaceae), collected from Taiwan, is described and illustrated here. Asarum ampulliflorum is similar to A. asaroides (Morr. & Decne.) F. Maekawa in appearance but can be differentiated from the latter
