Here, Ejemel et al. report the identification and characterization of a cross-neutralizing human IgA monoclonal antibody, named MAb362, that binds the receptor-binding domain of SARS-CoV-2 Spike, blocking its interaction with the ACE2 host receptor.

KP4 is a virally encoded and highly specific toxin that kills fungi closely related to the fungus Ustilago maydis. The toxin was purified and crystals were formed using ammonium sulfate as precipitant. The crystals belong to the space group P6(1)(5)2
