In the present study, we present results for the electronic momentum density of polyethylene obtained by Compton scattering of X- and γ-ray radiation. Measurements taken along c-axis, which is the axis of the primary carbon chain of an oriented poly

Compton profile measurements on K 1 C 60 and Rb 1 C 60 and C 60 powders have been carried out using inelastically scattered photons. We compare experimental Compton Profile Difference (CPD) of K 1 C 60 and that of C 60 with the corresponding calculat

Compton profiles of polycrystalline lithium were measured at 90 and 300 K, using synchrotron radiation. We detected a slight change with temperature, but its magnitude was found to be much smaller than predicted by recent calculations and its depende

High resolution Compton profiles were measured by hydrogenated, dehydrogenated amorphous silicon powder and finally on the recrystallized sample, using synchrotron radiation. The observed structures seen in difference profiles are discussed, using tw

High resolution measurements of Compton profiles of LixNiO2 have been carried out using 60 keV photons at ESRF (Grenoble, France). Theoretical profiles are obtained using the plane wave expansion of wave functions calculated using ab-initio SCF metho

An experimental and theoretical analysis of cobalt disilicide Compton profiles is presented. The measurements along [100], [110] and [111] directions of single crystal CoSi2 are performed with use of synchrotron radiation (59.38 keV). There is a good

We report directional Compton profiles of KHCO3 measured along the pi pi direction (parallel to the HCO3 layers and parallel to the H bonds), the pi sigma direction (parallel to the layers and orthogonal to the H bonds), and the sigma sigma direction

In order to probe electron wave functions involved in the bonding of NH4F, we have performed Compton scattering experiments in an oriented single crystal and in a powder. Ab initio calculations of the Compton profiles for NH4F and NH4Cl are used to e
