We demonstrate pulse compressibility from 840 fs to 38 fs of 10 mJ pulses from a thin-disk amplifier at a repetition rate of 3 kHz after nonlinear broadening in a multipass cell. In addition, the temporal-intensity contrast is enhanced via nonlinear

We demonstrate a thin-disk based regenerative amplifier system with a maximum pulse energy before compression of 550 mJ at a repetition rate of 1 kHz. A fraction of the output was recompressed to 602 fs.

Ultrafast thin-disk lasers are based on the mature thin-disk technology. This technique allows for highest pump powers due to very efficient cooling. Therefore, the thin-disk geometry offers exceptional scaling of laser performance in terms of averag

A thin-disk based CPA system with a maximum compressed pulse energy of 206 mJ at a repetition rate of 5 kHz and output powers close to 2 kW at 20 kHz is presented. Spectral amplitude shaping led to pulse durations of < 500 fs at 206 mJ.

A thin-disk based CPA system with a maximum compressed pulse energy of 260 mJ at a repetition rate of 1 kHz and output powers close to 2 kW at 20 kHz is presented. Spectral amplitude shaping led to pulse durations of < 500 fs at 206 mJ.

We present results of an thin-disk based regenerative amplifier. Record high output powers of 1.9 kW at 20 kHz before compression, with good beam quality and a spectrum supporting < 600 fs, could be achieved.

In the original manuscript, a residual RMS timing jitter below 2 fs between pump and seed pulses in the stabilized case was claimed. Following a reevaluation of the data, this was underestimated. Due to a rounding error in the calibration routine, a

We present an optical parametric chirped pulse amplifier (OPCPA) delivering CEP-stable ultrashort pulses with 7 fs, high energies of more than 1.8 mJ and high average output power exceeding 10 W at a repetition rate of 6 kHz. The system is pumped by
