The Durkan Complex is a key tectonic element of the Makran accretionary prism (SE Iran) and it has been interpreted as representing a continental margin succession. We present here a multidisciplinary study of the western Durkan Complex, which is bas

We report on three shells of whale barnacle (Cirripedia: Coronulidae) collected from Pleistocene shallow-marine deposits exposed at Cinisi (northwestern Sicily, southern Italy). These specimens are identified as belonging to the extinct species Coron

This paper reports new data on biostratigraphy, stratigraphy and syn-sedimentary deformation of the so-called "Boeotian Flysch" cropping out in key areas in Central Greece (Levadhia, Parnassus, Iti). Because of its age, sedimentary evolution and mech

The Mt. Amiata region (Southern Tuscany, Italy) represents the southernmost area of the Northern Apennines in which different lithologies belonging to the Ligurian and Sub-Ligurian units crop out widely. This paper provides an update on the stratigra
