This paper experimentally demonstrates the operating principles of a near-field multiferroic antenna. The antenna uses a piezoelectric lead-zirconate-titanate stack to apply a time varying strain to a magnetoelastic iron gallium Fe80.77Ga19.23 (FeGa)
