A volatile-producing endophytic fungus, PDL-005, with bio-fumigation activity was isolated from leaves of the medicinal plant Peperomia dindygulensis. PDL-005 showed an inhibitory efficacy or fungicidal ability against Penicillium digitatum Cmep1-3.
