The goal of this research is the study of the thermomagnetic behavior of isotropic type-II superconductors, subjected to an external magnetic field H a = H ay y ^ + H az z ^ , throughout the instability field H if calculation which is closely related

The conventional elliptic critical-state models (ECSM) establish that the electric field vector is zero when it flows a critical current density in a type-II superconductor. This proposal incorporates a finite electric field on the ECSM to study samp

A curvature sensor using an erbium-doped fiber (EDF) based on an asymmetric concatenated tapered Mach-Zehnder Interferometer (MZI) is proposed. For this experiment, the tapers were fabricated by using an arc electrical fusion splicer in manual mode.

The effect of flux-line cutting upon the magnetic behavior of hard superconductors subjected to a dc bias magnetic field Hz and a transverse field Hy undergoing half-wave oscillations of large amplitude is investigated theoretically. We have applied

The behavior of hard superconductors subjected to crossed magnetic fields is theoretically investigated by employing an elliptic critical-state model. Here the anisotropy is induced by flux-line cutting. The model reproduces successfully the collapse

The spatial distribution of the magnetic induction B in Y-Ba-Cu-O high-temperature superconducting ceramics in an external magnetic field of small magnitude is investigated theoretically. The applied phenomenological theory covers the weak-link regim

The magnetic response of anisotropic irreversible type-II superconductors is investigated theoretically. Using an elliptic vertical law for the electric field E as a function of the current density J, we have reproduced available experimental magneti
